What a night!

Friday night was the 2014 Fremantle Business Awards and I have to say it was a spectacular evening with over 430 attending! This year we themed it as a Great Gatsby 1920’s function and the large majority of the guests got right into the spirit of it.

We were fortunate enough to have Minister Joe Francis MLA , minister for Small Business there who delivered the opening welcome. The Fremantle Mayor Dr. Brad Pettitt and our president Ra Stewart also addressed the audience before the official proceedings commenced.

I would like to congratulate all the Winners of the awards, all well deserving members of the Fremantle Business Community! A special mention to Media on Mars for taking home three awards including the 2014 Business of the Year!

The evening was a glamorous celebration of the outstanding achievements of the Fremantle business community. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved, including the sponsors & judges, our hosts the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle – by Rydges, and my team.

The evening is undoubtedly the highlight of the Fremantle Social Calendar and once the awards concluded it was straight into the music! The entertainment was provided by Amanda Dee & Soothe and they put on a great show for us once again, this time incorporating a brass section into the band! The dance floor was packed from the first chord to the last and afterwards we were treated to a speakeasy bar where in true Gatsby fashion whisky and cigars were provided.

This year was a sell out so make sure that you book your tickets easily next June. Pictures and Videos will be uploaded very shortly to our Facebook page and Website.

Thank you for your support!
